So cocky, so cool,

They broke every rule
And laughed aloud
At the thought of the fool
Who though she sympathised
Made it quite clear
They were risking her vengeance
With each careless leer
For the fool by tradition
Is no idiot or clown
But  the  crafty survivor of 
Many a kings frown.
